Our Festival Venue

The Pleasance, 60 Pleasance, Edinburgh, EH8 9TJ

Better known as a Fringe venue, the Pleasance is part of the University of Edinburgh and run by Edinburgh University Student Association (EUSA).

CYMERA will be taking over the whole space for the festival!

Will there be food & drink?

The Cafe & Bar will be open throughout the festival. Check out their menu here.

Accessibility

Following a 2-year renovation project, the venue is now fully wheelchair accessible.

Quiet Space in the Torridon Room

There will be a quiet space where you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the festival.

How to get there

The Pleasance is a fifteen minute walk or a short taxi ride from Edinburgh’s Waverley Station. There is no bus stop right outside it, but plenty nearby. Lothian Buses and Borders buses stop at Surgeon’s Hall on Nicolson Street, and Lothian Bus number 14 will take you to Richmond Place.

Parking

There is no public parking within the Pleasance Courtyard. Blue Badge Holders are able to park on the road just outside.

For long term parking within walking distance, we recommend Nicolson Square Car Park or St Leonards Car Park (Hermits Croft, Edinburgh EH8 9SW). Please note that there is no longer free parking in Edinburgh City Centre on a Sunday.
