CYMERA was created to fill a gap in the literary landscape for all those that want to get together to celebrate genre writing. We’re always looking for new ideas and new collaborators - it’s all about what YOU would like to see at the festival.*

So get in touch, we’d love to hear from you!

*within reason. And our budget.

Programming for 2024 is now underway and all our programme slots have been filled.

WRITERS

Are you a writer of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror and you want to get involved in the festival? Email us on programme@cymerafestival.co.uk

Opportunities include taking part in an event, filling a Brave New Words slot or running a writing workshop.

Please note that to qualify for a panel event in our 2025 programme, your latest book should be published between July 2024 and July 2025. This can be traditionally published or self-published.

PUBLISHERS

Do you have an author that you’d like to propose for our 2025 programme? We’d love to hear from you, so drop us an email on programme@cymerafestival.co.uk

Please note that to qualify for our 2025 programme, the author’s latest book should be published between July 2024 and July 2025.

LOCAL CREATORS

No sci-fi, fantasy and horror book festival would be complete without a dealer’s hall. We have 20 tables in ours, and we are hoping to fill them with local creators, be they writers, artists, publishers or anything in between. Application for the Creator’s Hall will open in April 2024.

VOLUNTEERS

We couldn’t do this without a team of volunteers! We’ll be “advertising” for festival weekend volunteers in April 2024, so join our mailing list or follow us on Social Media to hear about it.

PRESS

We love talking about our plans, so drop us an email on press@cymerafestival.co.uk . This is also the email for requesting press passes for the festival.

SPONSOR

CYMERA is a unique opportunity to be part of something new and exciting, and reach readers and writers of Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror. There are many ways to support us, and we’re always happy to discuss this further. Please get in touch on support@cymerafestival.co.uk
