The gothic spires of Teviot Row House harbour the Northern Court. It’s grim up North, but its lords and ladies come together for a night of magical dancing and revelry, and you have been invited.

What to expect

Welcome Drink & Canapes

As you enter the venue, you will be greeted with a welcome drink. Alcoholic or non-alcoholic versions will be available.

Canapes will be served in the ball room.

Ceilidh & Live Music

Immerse yourself in the music of Celtic dark-folk band Runach, featuring violin, viola, banjo, bass, percussion and powerful vocal duets to create timeless soundscapes.

Get ready to be swept away to their dark ceilidh tunes - don’t worry, our Ceilidh caller will talk you through the steps. Ceilidh’s are one of Scotland’s favourite traditions, and all our welcome on the dance floor.

Disco

Once the Ceilidh and live music end, our DJ will keep you dancing until midnight.

Artist in Residence

All dressed up and want a hand drawn picture of the moment? Our Artist in Residence Hannah Kelly will be sketching live throughout the night and is on hand to take photos and orders for personalised portraits.

Need her to include an absent friend, a pocket dragon or babel fish? It's a high probability she will say heck yes.
